Organize Donations for Local Organizations

We are seeking volunteers to help us organize donated clothing, toiletries, etc that we collect for our fellow Hollywood organizations, like Project Ropa, My Friend's Place, Covenant House, and The Center. This can be a one time volunteer role or a recurring role—we'd love to have your help either way.

Notes:

HODG is a very unique community. It's kind of like a boy/girl scouts for adults. It's about connection with one another, about hanging out, and doing whatever we can to make the world better. It is also made up of mostly people for whom our systems work. All too often those people don't get involved in civic actions. HODG educates them and organizes them to be a part of the solutions!

Any money we receive goes directly toward serving our unhoused neighbors. We use donations to buy supplies like cups, disposable silverware, soap, and other essentials. We also purchase items to make sack lunches, as well as hygiene products and other basic needs for those we serve at Genevieve’s Garden.
