We are seeking volunteers to sort and organize food donations between 10:30am and 12:30pm.

Serve LA is a non-profit organization that exists to help guide the marginalized from suffering to flourishing and equip others to do the same. Our goal is to be more than a meal, more than a shower, more than any of our services—but a ministry where we witness countless examples of how the compassion of Jesus changes everything.

We are seeking volunteers to help us organize donated clothing, toiletries, etc that we collect for our fellow Hollywood organizations, like Project Ropa, My Friend's Place, Covenant House, and The Center. This can be a one time volunteer role or a recurring role—we'd love to have your help either way.

HODG is a very unique community. It's kind of like a boy/girl scouts for adults. It's about connection with one another, about hanging out, and doing whatever we can to make the world better. It is also made up of mostly people for whom our systems work. All too often those people don't get involved in civic actions. HODG educates them and organizes them to be a part of the solutions!

We are seeking volunteers to help us with food preparation and distribution at our nightly dinners. We need help seven days a week but our biggest need is on Wednesday nights.

The mission of Hollywood Food Coalition is to nourish the community. We welcome people to dinner each night and rescue and redistribute food daily to other organizations. We care for our immediate community through our wellness program. We build community with and through our volunteers and community partnerships.

We are seeking volunteers to join us in the kitchen during our Thursday Cookfest. From 4:30pm to 6:30pm, volunteers prepare hot dishes that will be served at our Friday and Saturday Soup Kitchen. St. James' In-The-City Episcopal Church celebrates over 100 years of respecting the dignity of every human being.

Volunteers from diverse backgrounds and skillsets can provide 60-minute to two hour workshops on a variety of subjects that they are experienced in orpassionate about to help support members in our program experiencing homelessness. We appreciate volunteers with ANY skills or knowledge, but are excitedabout financial literacy, employment fundamentals, housing support, mental health and awareness, as well as many other topics that could ignite passion andgrow self-sufficiency.
