Our mission is to improve the lives of people experiencing homelessness through quality holistic care. It is our vision that all people experiencing homelessness have access to quality healthcare that addresses their mental, social and physical health needs.

Items can be dropped off on Friday mornings and early afternoons, as well as Saturday mornings. If you are interested in donating items, please come by during the times we are open. SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition is a 501(c)(3) organization of neighborhood organizers who recognize unhoused individuals as fellow members of our community worthy of the same dignity, respect and representation afforded to any housed person.Our mission is to build a community-led response to homelessness in Los Angeles that addresses the needs of our most vulnerable neighbors and activates an empowered coalition of participants, volunteers and partners.




Volunteers will help with distributing clothing and personal hygiene essentials directly to those in need at our service location. Project Ropa staff will be on-site at all times during services.
We have two service locations in Hollywood:
Join us on Fridays at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Hollywood from 10:30am-1:30pm to distribute clothing and hygiene essentials to those in need at our grab and go service. The address is: 6657 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90028.
Join us on the last Tuesday of the month from 8:30am-12:30pm at The Day of Hope to distribute clothing and hygiene essentials to those in need with our mobile clothing closet. The address is: 4903 Fountain Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90029.
All volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
Project Ropa is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates the only mobile clothing closet of its kind for people in need in Los Angeles. Our mission is to reduce textile waste and restore dignity by providing clothing and hygiene essentials to those in need, while advocating for clothing to be recognized as an essential human right.




We are seeking volunteers to organize and host fundraising events, like a golf or bowling tournament, a run/walk-a-thon, or a community movie night. Volunteers would also provide hands-on assistance at the special events, workshops, or camps. Learn more about our volunteer opportunities here.

Our team provides services in more than 20 languages to ensure all clients get the care they need when they need it most.

We are seeking volunteers to join us in the kitchen during our Thursday Cookfest. From 4:30pm to 6:30pm, volunteers prepare hot dishes that will be served at our Friday and Saturday Soup Kitchen. Volunteers from diverse backgrounds and skillsets can provide 60-minute to two hour workshops on a variety of subjects that they are experienced in orpassionate about to help support members in our program experiencing homelessness. We appreciate volunteers with ANY skills or knowledge, but are excitedabout financial literacy, employment fundamentals, housing support, mental health and awareness, as well as many other topics that could ignite passion andgrow self-sufficiency.

Led by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, in partnership with Hollywood 4WRD, we bring together social workers, psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and a wide network of community organizations and neighbors to support people in Hollywood living with severe mental illness.
